Franklin Community Player’s presents Farce of Nature. 
Production dates are:  Friday, May 11, 7 pm;  Saturday, May 12, 7pm; Sunday, May 13, 2:30 pm; Saturday, May 19, 7 pm; Sunday, May 20, 2:30 pm at the Lavonia Cultural Center. May 26 - 1st Annual Lavonia FCP Classic Car
           and Truck show

 Franklin Community Player’s will be sponsoring the 1st Annual
Lavonia Classic Car and Truck Show on Saturday, May 26, 2018.
Cost for registration will be $ 15.00.  Register at 8 am on the day of the Show or pre-register by calling 706-491-9374.
 The event will be at the Lavonia Cultural Center from 9 am till 1 pm.  Trophy presentation at 1pm. Pizza and hotdog plates will be sold for $ 5.00 includes chips, drink and dessert.  Other concessions will be sold as well.  Come on out and enjoy the fun! 
Public is invited to view these classic cars and trucks for free!!!

Beginning on May 21 - Tai Chi Classes 

 

 Bonita Kelemen will be instructing the classes. She is an IIQTC Certified instructor. Her classes and practice program have been designed under the guidance of the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi and Dr. Roger Jahnke. She is also certified by the Supreme Science Qigong Association and Dr. Paul Lam, Tai Chi for Health Institute.  Tai Chi is an internal Chinese martial art practiced for its health and longevity benefits. Today, Tai Chi has spread worldwide. A multitude of training forms exits, both traditional and modern, being especially known for being   practiced with slow movements.

Classes will be every Monday at 6:00. $10 for each class or $100 for 12 classes.
